At Multiasistencia we are certified as a Family-Friendly Company (Empresa Familiarmente Responsable (EFR), in Spanish), thus demonstrating our clear commitment in terms of reconciliation and equal opportunities to improve our workers’ quality of life.

To obtain said certificate we have had to undergo a thorough external audit, by an accredited certification body, which analysed not only the measures implemented in the area of work and family life reconciliation but also the perception our employees have of the same.

In this sense at Multiasistencia we have been working for some time on strengthening an entrepreneurial culture where employee satisfaction harmonises with our company’s on-going improvement. Different policies have arisen from these efforts with the aim to facilitate reconciliation between our employees’ professional and family life.

The most relevant measures implemented in our reconciliation model are among others: flexible remuneration, a large discount on medical insurance for employees and their families, free services for employees and their families like: legal telephone assistance, credit card protection, medical telephone consultation, and computer telephone advice; discounts on a service packet called “Multiventajas”, flexibility regarding sabbatical duration to care for children, 100% salary complement in the event of being off sick, reduced timetable flexibility due to legal guardianships, possibility of teleworking in certain positions, back to school bonus for employees with children, etc.

Furthermore, we encourage our suppliers to implement reconciliation policies and where possible obtain the Family-Friendly Company (EFR) certificate.

The EFR initiative is a reconciliation and equality certificate, which responds to a new work culture within the corporate social responsibility area. To date 128 companies have obtained the EFR stamp and over 160,000 employees benefit from the measures implemented.

The certificate is issued and awarded by the Másfamilia Foundation, an independent non-profit-making private charitable organisation, created and geared to providing highly professional innovative solutions to protect and support the family.
